The Alberta Certification of Recognition is valid for 3 years, providing that all requirements are met. To maintain a COR/SECOR, an employer must have audits completed each year.

COR certified companies are expected to maintain their Health and Safety Management system at all times and any infractions may result in a failure to pass your COR Audit.

• Update your safety registries such as ISNetworld, Avetta and Complyworks, whether it is quarterly or yearly.
• Ensure that the safety training for your employees are meeting COR and Alberta OH&S Legislation
• Measuring and checking that facility and equipment inspections are being conducted monthly and properly
• Ensuring office and on-site emergency response drills are being conducted annually to fire code and COR standards.
• Ensuring all of your COR Action Plan is developed and all deficiencies from your previous audit are being completed and implemented
• Ensure your COR and SECOR audits are being conducted each year on time and sucessfully.
